About This Quote

I think that poetry is a great way of expressing oneself, but i think that it doesn't really qualify as an art. For me, poetry is a way of writing a poem and having a lot of emotions, but if i were to be asked to define it as a real art, i would have to say that it has to have some sort of "meaning". In this quote, the author makes it clear that he doesn't believe poetry has any real meaning behind it.
